Login Feature Q&A

Q: Why would I login?
A: As a member of the Encompass community, logging into the Encompass Web site allows you the ability to manage your Encompass profile online. By keeping your contact information up to date you are ensuring that you never miss nofication of important industry news and events.

Q: Who is able to login?
A: The login feature is for current individual and corporate Encompass members as well as free associates.

Q: Who has access to priviledged-areas of the Web site?
A: The login feature entitles current Encompass members (individual & corporate) to the privileged-areas of the Web site. These areas include organizational minutes, member discounts, event proceedings, professional resources, and various other benefits related to Encompass membership.

Q: What is my login?
A: Your login is your Member or associate ID, which is given to you at the time you become an Encompass member or associate. Your temporary password is randomly generated and emailed to you by Headquarters after your membership has been processed. You are encouraged to login change it once you receive it.

Q: How can I change my password?
A: If you have forgotten your password follow the "Forgot Your Login or Password" utility above. You will be emailed a URL to reset your password. You can also change your password at any time when you are logged in by clicking the "Change My Password" link in your Encompass profile.

Q: What if I can't remember my login or password?
A: Use the "Forgot Your Login or Password" utility above. You will be emailed a URL to reset your password.

Q: Am I required to login to the site when I visit?
A: No. There are many areas on the Encompass Web site available to the public. Only if you attempt to access a privileged area or update your profile, will you be required to login.

Q: Do I have to keep logging in for each privileged area?
A: No. If you login upon arrival to the site, you will not be prompted for another login your entire session. If you haven't logged in and try to access a privileged area, you will be prompted for your login then, but you will not be prompted for another login for the remainder of your session.
