Special Interest Groups

Encompass is proud to offer five Special Interest Groups (SIGs) for its members in good standing:

SIG MIGRATE
Enterprise UNIX SIG
OpenVMS SIG
Enterprise Storage SIG
Linux SIG
Integrity SIG

Dear HP Professional,

On behalf of Encompass, I'd like to thank you for your interest in our Special Interest Groups (SIGs). As an Encompass member, you are an individual with an interest in enterprise computing and--more specifically--the products, services, and technologies of HP. By signing up for an Encompass SIG, you are joining a smaller community of Encompass members with whom you share a specific focus.

What is a SIG? Encompass SIGs are a forum where HP Professionals with an enterprise system interest can communicate with others who have similar interests and who face similar challenges. In short, SIGs are a place where you can learn more about a particular HP product or technology.

The current Encompass SIGs are: Enterprise UNIX, OpenVMS, Enterprise Storage, Linux, Integrity, and SIG Migrate - focusing on migration off of the HP e3000 .

Why is SIG participation so important? SIGs also offer a means whereby you can easily find the Encompass Programs that interest you the most. Many Encompass programs, such as online chats and Webcasts, are created specifically with the SIGs as their primary audience.

Whether you consider yourself an expert in HP or the use of it in your business, or simply want to learn more, I encourage you to sign up for one or more SIGs today. These are available to Encompass members at no cost and the benefits are immeasurable.

If you have any comments, suggestions, or questions, please feel free to contact us. We're eager to help in any way we can.

Sincerely,

Dena Wright
Encompass Director
