The Encompass Board of Directors has asked David Gudewicz of Abbott Laboratories to serve as the official Encompass LUG National Chair to help further enhance and promote the value of the local user groups of Encompass.
David has enjoyed his work at Abbott Laboratories for the past 17 years where is currently the VMS team lead. He has been an active participant in DECUS/Encompass since 1972. David helped establish and has been the leader of the Encompass Chicago Area (CARTS) LUG for over 20 years. David's connections with the organization run very deep and he looks forward to his new position.
David has been an active participant in Encompass events and has kept an open dialogue with Encompass over the years. He will be stepping into his new leadership role immediately, and will be supported by Encompass headquarters staff (and will communicate questions, needs, etc. directly to the Encompass Board of Directors).
