Congratulations to our 2006 Winner - Erik Bennett!

Erik Bennett
Location: Farmington, New Mexico
School: Full-time student at New Mexico Institute of Mining & Technology
Degree: Associates Degree in Computer Science from San Juan College, New Mexico

Biography: I grew up and went to school in Gallup, New Mexico. After graduating from Window Rock High School, I moved to Farmington, New Mexico and attended San Juan College. There, I earned an Associates of Science Degree in Computer Science and helped develop a word processor that types in the Navajo language and has a feature that gives the English and equivalent Navajo term. I also spent time as a math and science tutor. I plan on attending New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology were I will major in Computer Science. Thank you for this scholarship, it will help me to continue pursuing my educational objectives.
